Frequently asked questions
Do I have to pay anything today?
No. Nothing is charged until you have seen your site and approved it. You send your details, we call you, we build it, you review it. Billing starts after that.
What if I change my mind?
Before you approve the site, nothing has been charged. On Option A you can cancel with one month's notice. On Option B you get a full refund within 14 days of your site going live, less the $40 domain, which is already registered in your name and stays yours. Klarna costs you nothing extra, and your refund is the same either way.
What's the domain, and why isn't it in Option A?
The domain is your web address, yourname.co.nz. It is about $40 a year, it is first-come, and once you have it, it is yours. On Option A you register it yourself and pay the registrar direct, so budget about $40 a year on top of the $24.99 a month. On Option B the first year is covered by the $279 and it is registered in your name, with full control transferring to you at 12 months.
I'm going to work for someone, not go out on my own — is this still worth it?
Yes. Lock in the domain with your name on it now, before someone else takes it. Then use the site as a portfolio: photos of your work, your qualifications, your references. Employers look people up. A page you control says more than a social profile when someone is deciding whether to hire you. And if you do go out on your own later, it is already there.
